| Parquet (Ceylon)
PLC offers a limited warranty on its products. The warranty covers the product against the wearing through the complete depth of the Hardwood Wear layer, through normal usage in a domestic environment for a period of 15 years from the date of purchase, provided that the product is installed and maintained strictly in accordance with our recommendations. This guarantee does not cover movement in the floor resultant from incorrect installation methods or a damp subfloor or an environment not within the parameters of our recommendations on humidity, i.e. do not use in bathrooms, utility rooms or rooms with similar humidity.
This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.
The warranty is subject to the following conditions

Commercial applications of the product are excluded from the guarantee. |
| 2. |
Products must be inspected by the installer for colour (natural colour
variation of timber excluded), finish and quality consistency, prior to installation. All claims with visual defects will be denied after installations. |
| 3. |
Applicable only to the original purchaser of PARQUET (CEYLON) products. |
| 4. |
Applicable only for normal indoor use. |
| 5. |
Applicable only when the flooring has been installed according to our instructions. |
| 6. |
Applicable only when damage is not as a result of :
incorrect or infrequent maintenance, misuse or handling without care, incorrect cleansing agents and methods, cuts and tears caused by sharp objects and utensils such as screwdrivers and surface damage from including but not limited to furniture movement, dog claws etc. |
| 7. |
Applicable only when a damp proof membrane has been used, prior to installation of wood flooring. |
| 8. |
Special note :
Claims for flooring installed on concrete without a polyethylene vapour barrier will not be accepted. |
Parquet (Ceylon) PLC DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING AND NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND IMPLIED WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Parquet (Ceylon) PLC DISCLAIMS LIABILITY FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OCCURRING AS A RESULT OF ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY. NO OTHER WARRANTIES HAVE BEEN MADE OTHER THAN THOSE EXPRESSED HEREIN. ANY MODIFICATION TO ANY WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, MUST BE IN WRITING AND SIGNED BY ALL PARTIES TO BE VALID.

If defect is detected, a claim must be filed within 30 days with the Retailer where the purchase was made If contact with the Retailer is not possible, please send a full written description of the claim along with a sample to ;
